Abstract :
A ceramic chip antenna for Bluetooth applications has been designed with the overall dimension of 9.4×4×1 mm and BW of about 6.6% at 2.5 GHz. This antenna has been feed with three different feeding methods and the simulation results show that the return loss bandwidth is the greatest when using a coplanar waveguide (CPW). By changing the length l properly, we can obtain the desired resonant frequency. The used alumina substrate is very cheap and widely available and thus production cost can go quite lower.
