Abstract
Electric motor´s controlling algorithm decides bus acceleration ability. Under acceleration and huge resistance condition, electric motor is expected to give peak torque in a short response time. The paper analyzes the principle of the power train based on a permanent magnet DC motor with an augment-winding, develops a transient mathematical model of electric motor drive system in the acceleration process. Based on MATLAB/Stateflow, the controlling algorithm is also modeled. Respectively considering the different resistance loads, the occupation ratio and transmission ratios, the startup acceleration process is simulated and validated and the effect of the occupation ratio on acceleration ability is summarized. Finally, the dynamic characteristic of power train in acceleration is analyzed.
