Abstract :
In order to improve the environmental quaLity of Nanchang city and provide scientific foundation for the municipal government to perfect the reconstruction of "Ecological Nanchang", the samples of PM10, flying dust from roads and construction sites were collected. The results showed that the PM10 concentration of the sampLing spot (Lijia ZHuang, an industrial district) was the highest (635.516μg/m3), the PM10 concentration in the main traffic district was higher than that in the residential district. The pollution of heavy metal elements in the PM10 of Nanchang City sHould be paid more attention to. The concentrations of Cu, Mn, Pb and Zn at Lijia ZHuang sampLing spot, an industrial district, were 104.545ng/m3, 454.515ng/m3, 325.028ng/m3, 626.728 ng/m3 respectively, which were much higher than that at the other two sampLing spots of Bayi Bridge (a main traffic spot) and Yongwai Zheng Street(a residential district). And the contamination degree of heavy metal elements were Zn>; Mn >; Pb>;Cd>;Cu>;Cr>;Ni successively. Industrial pollution was the main source of heavy metal contamination of atmospheric particles. In order to have better air quaLity in Nanchang City, it is advisable to further demoLishing the heavily polluting enterprises, decreasing the flying dust from roads and construction sites, eLiminating scrap vehicles and optimizing energy structure.
