Abstract :
MgO:LiNbO/sub 3/ based 1.5-/spl mu/m-band wavelength converters were fabricated and investigated for the first time. Conversion efficiency of -26 dB (@ 14.4 mW pump power) and bandwidth of -60 nm were obtained.
