Abstract :
We demonstrate 10 Gb/s/λ full-duplex transmission over a 20 km single feeder WDM PON. DSP enables spectrally efficient 16-QAM modulation and RF subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) for both uplink and downlink channels using low cost optoelectronics. BER performance below the RS(255,223) FEC threshold is verified.
