Abstract :
A new independently controllable dual-feed dual-beam phased array has been developed at 30 GHz. Sixty-four planar microstrip patch antennas are used to form a two-dimensional 8×8 array. Two piezoelectric transducers are used as phase shifters to obtain two independently steerable beams. The measured gain and beam steering angle are 18 dBi and 10°, respectively.
