Abstract :
In this paper a novel design approach of the elliptical ring slots antenna is presented. Details of the antenna design approach is presented and discussed. This antenna has a stripline feed structure that eliminates the above limitations of probe-fed patch antennas. Simulation result illustrates about 7.3% fractional bandwidth at the frequency band of 58.1-62.5 GHz. Finally radiation pattern results of the E-plane and H-plane are presented.
