Abstract :
We demonstrate a seamless frequency translation of Nyquist OTDM-WDM signals using a dual-stage polarization-diversity FWM-based wavelength converter for all-optical elastic network. A 172-Gbaud Nyquist OTDM signal is elastically frequency-shifted at an add-drop node and successfully transmitted over 80-km fiber link.
