Abstract :
We propose a locally defined precise subcarrier addition into an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexed signal using fiber-frequency conversion. A 12.5-GBd QPSK-signal is added into an exact frequency grid to generate 200-Gb/s CO-OFDM at a free-running remote node without additional OSNR penalty.
