Japanese Accent Training System for Foreign Students

Recently, great numbers of foreign students come to Japanese university. Japanese reading and pronunciation become a problem for the foreign students. In this study, we propose a Japanese training system for foreign students. At first, we analyzed an accent of the foreign students. Secondarily we compare the accent of the foreign students and Japanese standard accents. We developed a system which supports foreign students for learning of the accent by visualizing the difference of the accent.
