  • Abstract
    We propose and test a fully automated solution for end-to-end Ethernet traffic restoration based on Ethernet OAM and VLAN switching over a type B dual parented PON. We demonstrate a working prototype built using a commercial GPON System and also report on preliminary results obtained in a lab configuration.
