Abstract :
In view of traditional hydraulic micro-displacement mechanisms in honing, complexity of structure, low control resolution and low efficiency have greatly limited applications and the popularization of honing. These micro-displacement feeding mechanisms are unfit to be applied in multi-channel feeding for large diameter parts because of their low efficiency. So, in this paper, a new strategy for micro-displacement feeding was researched, and its concrete structure was designed too. Based on simulation results, this new structure could totally replace hydraulic system or screw rod type devices in honing. In addition, this strategy could also be used in other fields requiring micro-displacement feeding.
