Abstract :
Enterprise information systems (EIS) are the core to support an enterprise to be more flexible to cope with changing requirement and service. However, dynamic integration is hard to tackle in EIS. It results from different interpretations and representations of various requirements. A unified architecture for the whole map of the knowledge in EIS is needed to be built to describe both business objects and their relationships. Under the requirement of careful scheduling and integration of changes to EIS, enterprise isomorphic layer structure (EILS) as ontology hierarchy is proposed to provide structural and semantic identification in EIS development and integration. Based on our previous work, this paper focuses on the discussion and analysis of constructing rules, mapping principles and formalization of EILS. As a result, EILS leads the design of EIS to be a synchronized process and produce an isomorphic concept structure at semantic level whenever change happens.
