Abstract :
This paper investigates the cased-based design of the engineering clamp hangers and develops an integrated computer-aimed design system, aiming at optimizing the whole hanger structure and meanwhile keeping the strength security. The structure and the working load status of the clamp hanger are firstly analyzed. Then the general thought, the structure design, the model Check & strength verification, and the structure optimization of the hanger inelegant design are respectively presented. Finally, the Solid Edge-based integrated computer-aimed design system is developed under VB6.0. The developed system may greatly improve the design efficiency and the precision, optimize the hanger structure and meanwhile ensure the hanger´s strength security. The presented work in this paper has reference value and active meaning.
