Abstract :
We have developed a three wavelength (760, 800, 830 nm) time-resolved spectroscopy (TRS) system, employing time-correlated single photon counting method. This system achieved a higher data acquisition rate and system miniaturization maintaining high sensitivity and time resolution. Our system succeeded in accurately measuring concentrations of oxy- (HbO/sub 2/) and deoxyhemoglobin (Hb) by means of TRS data observation. Through the study using phantom model or living tissue, the validity of this system was discussed.
