Abstract
MPC design methods have found wide acceptance in industrial applications and have been studied by academia. This paper presents a modified MPC algorithm that can applied in real time operating system. By adding a new fuzzy strategy to MPC algorithm, we can control how and when to calculate the real time data, so we can increase or decrease calculation time with different conditions. When applied this algorithm in real time operating system, we use some characteristic of operating system to ensure this fuzzy strategy not damaging basic feature of original MPC algorithm. Modified MPC algorithm performed by embedded systems is summarized.
