Abstract
The paper presents a new low profile quadrifilar helix antenna. This proposed antenna is about 17 mm high, obtains a good radiation pattern and good axial ratio characteristics for satellite communication at 2.3 GHz. The input impedance of this antenna in each port is about 50 Ω without a matching circuit. The feed circuit network may be simplified and miniaturized.
