Abstract :
One of the prevailing objectives of smart grids is to facilitate automation. Established methodologies, techniques, and approaches from the IT-sector are supposed to be adopted for the energy domain. The scope of this work thus includes semantic-based integration of data services in smart grids achieved through following the proposed (S2)In-approach (Semantic Services Integration). This approach identifies standards and specifications, which are integrated in order to build the basis for the (S2)In-architecture enabling automated communication processes in future smart grids. The identification of the applied standards and specifications is based on comprehensive, previously derived requirements. The target (S2)In-architecture allows precise descriptions of desired and provided data services as well as their combination and semi-automatic execution.
