Abstract :
Recently, hybrid clustering has attracted a great attention in the literature. This paper investigates a topology-based merge technique for combining partitioning and hierarchical clustering. The proposed merge technique enhances the efficiency of partitioning clustering while preserving the effectiveness of hierarchical clustering. It complements those clustering´s weaknesses and amplifies their strengths
