Abstract :
A wide range of research and application on freeway ramp control have already been carried out in many foreign big cities. National freeway ramp control study is later and more behind and its application is fewer. In this paper, we present the freeway ramp control based on interval type-2 fuzzy controller. In contrast to type-1 fuzzy controller, interval type-2 fuzzy controller can handle uncertain information and anomalistic noise more effectively. Simulation results verify that our proposing method is more effective than some existing methods.
