Abstract :
A novel open active phased array system (OAPAS) is proposed for the advanced applications of radar for the future. Compared with traditional array, this open system integrates all functions on a single platform; and more important, it is a reconfigurable system composed of the standardized and modularized components. It provides an important concept for the design of future radar system.
