Abstract :
Support vector machine (SVM) is a new modeling method. It has shown good performance in many field and mostly outperformed neural networks. An online modeling method based on SVM is proposed. It has a budget parameter to explicitly control the number of support vectors that used to define the predictor. The online modeling method was applied to construct intelligent model of helicopter. It is shown by simulation that the online SVM modeling method is feasible.
