Abstract :
In order to change the status of CNC tool management in workshop, improve the efficiency of tool management, and reduce the negative influence of tool management for processing efficiency, a tool management system based on LAN is designed. VC++6.0 is used for system design language, and SQL server2000 is used for the background database. The module of system function is researched, including power settings, tool information input management, borrowing and returning of the tool, tool inventory warning, borrowing records query and database backup. In addition, the physical structure and information flow of the system is given. And the various features of the system and background database management are described.
