Abstract
Laser micro-manufacturing on the inner surface of engine cylinder, the laser micro-manufacturing equipment of the special micro-manufacturing technology was developed. Considering the workpiece is heavy and large volume and the shape of the workpiece is irregular, the manufacture method that fixing the workpiece and the laser head does rotational motion and up and down linear motion was adopted. This system structure not only satisfies the simultaneous output of the laser pulse and the auxiliary gas, but also guarantees the air tightness of the system and the rotation coaxiality of the laser head. With the CNC system\´s coordinated control on the mechanical movement and the output of single laser pulse, the laser micro-manufacturing technology of "single pulse one time, repeating at intervals" is successfully realized. With this technology, laser micro-manufacturing on the inner surface of engine cylinder is efficient and high quality.
