Abstract
The transfer of knowledge has become a key foundation to build the competitive advantage for many organizations. Based on related literature review, the inherent mechanism of technical knowledge transfer was revealed from the dimension of R&D (research and development) unit. By referring to the model thinking of Nonaka and Takeuchi´s knowledge creation spiral, a framework was developed to analyze and explain the specific approaches and means of technical knowledge transfer within R&D unit. These methods can be used to accelerate knowledge flow among personnel within R&D unit. Some countermeasures were provided to improve the capability and performance of independent innovation for Chinese enterprises.
