Abstract :
In this paper, a new power combiner for high power and fully integrated CMOS power amplifier will be presented. Proposed structure is composed of different size transformers with new layout to obtain high efficiency combiner and save the area at the same time. According to two proposed and explained topologies for power stages, a new methodology has proposed for fully analysis and optimization of different size transformers in power combiner. Designed new power combiner is optimized for the frequency band of 900 MHz using 0.18-mum TSMC technology.
