Abstract :
In this paper, a robust watermarking scheme for embedding binary image watermarks is proposed. A morphological binary wavelet transform along with a human visual system (HVS) model are used for watermark casting in wavelet domain. The significant parts of the decomposed watermark are embedded in lower frequencies while its details are inserted in higher frequencies. Using the morphological binary form of decomposed watermark allows a robust watermark recovery. A comparison between our proposed watermarking using morphological and linear binary wavelet transforms along with using no decomposition watermarking under different attacks is performed. Results demonstrate that the proposed watermarking scheme using morphological binary wavelet transform can achieve more robustness against attacks in the extraction of true watermarks
