            Abstract : 
A femtosecond Cr/sup 4+/:YAG laser consisting of a three-mirror cavity was miniaturized to produce a pulse train of about 2.4 GHz. Moreover, a two-mirror cavity with a potentially higher repetition rate was newly developed.
