Abstract :
In this paper, a 2D size measurement model for regular parts based on structured light sensor is built. This measurement system can be used for regular shape parts such as rectangle, circle, ring and so on. The key technology of this model are discussed. An experiment is designed and the result shows that the measurement system based on structured light sensor inherited the advantages of both machine vision and structured light. Furthermore, the model can be used widely to measure and detect the size of laminar type parts on assembling line.
