Abstract :
We demonstrate a 1Tb/s transceiver, occupying only three 50-GHz slots leveraging a joint optimization procedure of modulation format and error correction coding. We validate its design by transporting 51-Tb/s over 2000-km, at 6.7-bit/s/Hz spectral efficiency.
