Abstract
The need of analytical methods which consider all - at least most of the - factors affecting the path loss in planing a land mobile communication system is still a challenge to dealt with. This paper addresses this issue. A simple analytical technique based on the least square method is presented. The approach follows, is to combine a number of models applicable in the same area into one. The main goal is to take into account, as far as possible, a given environment in its heterogeneity and complexity.
