Abstract :
The paper discusses the techniques of rapid crystal lighting modeling using CAD technology with regard to the complex characteristics of the outlook of crystal lighting. The crystal lighting is divided into linear distribution, area distribution and the volume distribution according to its monomer characteristic. We develop the aiding designing software based on the Rhinoceros. The software can compute the distribution of the crystal lighting entity selected by the user and automatically generate the model of crystal lighting consistent with the specified distribution. Such technology greatly improves the efficiency of crystal lighting designers.
