Music emotional design by evolutionary algorithms

Music emotional design has been studied for many years, and there has been a growing interest in analyzing and design emotion in music by the evolutionary algorithms. Therefore, it´s necessary to organize and categorize representative literature. The study presents an exhaustive survey of studies on one or more aspects of music emotional design by the evolutionary algorithms. In doing so, a classification of the literature based on the goal of what the studies want to achieve is developed. Such a classification not only highlights the significant results and unifies existing work, but also provides a foundation for future research in Music Emotional Design by the evolutionary algorithms.
