Abstract :
The development of three-dimensional printing (3DP) technology will change the current pattern of manufacturing, business model, mode of production and our life style. We elaborate the trends and prospects of three-dimensional printing technology, analysis the impact and change for industry design. As well as responding to the change, industry designer should have new ideas, skills and new knowledge structure.
