  • Abstract
In a paper written by Choi and Lee (IEEE Trans. Ind. Electron., vol. 56, no. 6, pp. 2039-2046, Jun. 2009), the authors propose a new antiwindup strategy for the proportional-integral speed controller, to suppress the undesired side effect known as integrator windup when large set-point changes are made. In this paper, we point out that there are obvious errors in the paper. Our paper corrects these errors and informs of further study to improve the antiwindup method. The proposed method is demonstrated by experimental results.
