Abstract :
Towards developing biomimetic visual systems, it will be important to collect and integrate descriptions and information of the established knowledge on human vision in neuroscience and psychophysics. For such purpose we have developed a neuroinformatics platform for vision science; Visiome at http://platform.visiome.neuroinf.jp. We describe here the concept of Visiome platform, its contents of several types, and the status since we opened it to public in 2005.
