  • Abstract
Game SAN is a simulation game of diagnosis of coronary artery using 99mTc-Tetrofosmin that developed as a media learning for grade XII high school students as a form of integration subjects of chemistry, physics, and biology. One of the most important part in the process of game development is the game interface design. The interface is an important part in the game that supports communication between users and the game. A good interface design will be able to produce ease, naturalness, and involves the interaction between user and system and allows users to do the jobs they need. The study focused on the design and implementation of visual interfaces of game SAN, with regard to the principles of good interface development in the form of simplicity, feedback, similarity, and familiarity. Visual interface that will be examined consists of four main components of a game interface, including the physical inputs, physical outputs, virtual interface, and the game world. Based on the results of testing the 17 respondents, aspects of usability from heuristics Nielsen shows that game SAN is flexible and efficient with enough categories (69.12%), aesthetic and minimalist design with good category (73.24%), help and documentation with good category (76.47%), and recognize than recall with good category (76.26%). Testing aspects of user experience shows that users feel satisfied, comfortable, and happy to use the SAN game with good category (80.88%).
