Abstract :
The reflectarray based on three-bit spatial phase shifters is analyzed. A full-wave mathematical model was developed for the analysis of the array. This mathematical model was used to design and to optimize the reflectarray for the central frequency of 20 GHz. It is demonstrated that this reflectarray can reflect an incident circularly-polarized wave in the directions determined by the elevation angles up to 38deg in a frequency band from 18.3 to 20.5 GHz. Also, the technological aspects of the reflectarray fabrication are discussed.
