Abstract :
A low-voltage oversampling analog-to-digital converter for high-speed, high-resolution applications has been integrated in a 0.25-μm CMOS technology. The converter employs a sigma-delta modulator with reduced integrator swing ranges to enable operation from a 1.2-V supply. It achieves a dynamic range of 92 dB for a 1.25-MHz signal band at an oversampling ratio of 16, while dissipating 83 mW.
