Abstract :
The authors introduce the seismic imaging problem and formulate several algorithms suitable for concurrent VLSI implementation. They introduce an optimal VLSI architecture for 2-D and 3-D frequency-domain migration and propose a new method of matrix transposition for the 2-D parallel phase shift migration algorithm. They also propose a systolic array architecture for computation of a time-domain finite-difference migration algorithm
