Abstract :
A strategy has been developed for the semiconductor industry to minimize environment, safety and health (ESH) impacts of manufacturing processes. An ESH process design tool set including CARRITM and the ESH Cost Model can empower process design engineers to consider the ESH impacts of materials and processes at the early design stage. This paper describes each of these models and provides an example of their use to improve business decision making
