Abstract
Characteristics have been measured for electrostatic discharge from charged human body through a handheld-short-metal-rod moving at different speeds to the target. Correlative coefficients were calculated with SPSS (statistic package for social science) between discharge parameters and electrode speeds. Brief description was implemented on threshold phenomenon during the electrostatic discharge (ESD) event.
