Abstract :
With the emergence of e-books, especially the invention of e-book reader, e-books has formed one industry; people´s reading custom is changing quietly. This article mainly aims at four series of e-book reader, best-selling both domestic and international today, to do a comparative study. That is Amazon Kindle series, Sony PRS series, Hanwang “electronic paper book” and WeFound of Founder Group. The analysis on appearance and interface design, technical support and functional characteristics has provided evidence for different e-book readers to choose a suitable reader. At the same time, my work has summed up the e-book reader trends and analyzed the challenges e-book readers facing and its own deficiencies, providing a reference to the development of e-book readers as a result.
