Abstract :
Summary form only given. Computing on silicon falls into two categories: processor and FPGA. The way problems are solved on the two types of silicons are dramatically different, in design methodology, end system cost, energy consumption, and designer productivity. Is it possible to have an alternative silicon structure that combines the advantages of the two and avoids the short comings of each? In this session, we´ll explore the answer together.
