  • Abstract
The complicated services composition problem can be solved efficiently in the approach of semantics-based automated Web services. An approach(CBT&M_ASWSC) for composing semantic Web services automatically using data mediator and complete backward tree (Shuiguang Deng et al., 2007) is proposed in this paper. In CBT&M_ASWSC approach ontologies are used to define precise semantics of Web services and Web service request, then three kinds of mediators are generated using ontology mapping technique. The mediators implement the semantics-based data transformation between Web services, which ensures interoperation. CBT&M_ASWSC approach limits the searching space in complete backward tree and can deal with the service request with both single goal and multiple goals. Experimental results show that the proposed approach improves both the success rate and the efficiency of the composition relatively.
