Abstract :
During measurements of radiated emissions in situ or on an OATS we frequently have to face the problem, that it is impossible to assess if detected interference signals are related to the DUT or to other sources. The spectral analysis of the video output (the envelope of the detected signal) of the measuring receiver enables us to distinguish between interference signals of interest (associated to the DUT) and spurious signals from other sources. The whole procedure, along with corresponding measurements and potential benefits are presented.
