Abstract :
Stain gauge technology is widely replaced by thin film technology, which is in principle, the same, but manufactured in different conditions. Both strain gauge and thin film are basis of force/pressure measurements. Basic description is that they are electromechanical devices. Force measurements are useful in many areas of human activities. That includes even remote areas such as researches in human locomotion or marine and shipbuilding.
