Abstract :
A theoretical analysis of Y-circulators is presented and applied to lumped element circulators. The impedances and the insertion loss of the circulator are described by ¿ and ¿, the complex elements of Polder´s permeability tensor. The values of ¿ and ¿ have been measured and several circulators have been constructed.
