Abstract :
Wavelets have proven to reduce the effort in moment methods for a given resolution. The intent of this paper is to show how to reasonably apply wavelets to microstrip crossings. Three examples with rising complexity are investigated: a step connection of two microstrip lines of different width, a four port junction, and a tee junction of three microstrip lines. Numerical results are presented along with guidelines for the implementation of the wavelet basis.
