Abstract :
The UV laboratory platform, which is the subject of this paper, is an electronic system destined to become a versatile laboratory product, being able to offer uniform UV radiation in the area where the exposed material is placed for processing. It is equipped with a micro-controller based timer to help setting the exposure time and is assembled in a compact case. The design and manufacturing of the equipment help professors and students in performing research and development activities, having also an important role in teaching students in electronic packaging issues.
